The general secretary of the PSOE of Castilla y León and spokesman for the Socialist Group in Parliament, Luis Tudanca, has assured that the PP’s decision to leave them out of the renewal of the Community’s own institutions is “nothing more than a tantrum and tantrum”, after not being “accomplices” -he said- in the appointment as regional senator of the former mayor of Vitoria registered in Sotosalbos (Segovia), Javier Maroto.
In an appearance in the regional Parliament, Tudanca responded this Monday to the announcement made last Tuesday by the ‘popular’ spokesman Raúl de la Hoz, who assured that they would not negotiate with the socialists the renewal of the Community’s own institutions and advanced a reform of the autonomous law of senators, through an agreement between PP and Vox.
In his opinion, the ‘popular’ and Vox “can’t do anything”, adding that “fortunately” they cannot “subvert” the democratic norms of majorities and minorities. “Perhaps they would like it,” she has sentenced.
In this sense, Tudanca has assured that the PP is going “on a very bad path” by putting, in his opinion, “into question” the consensus in its own institutions, the result of the “absolutely radical drift” that he has opined that it undertakes after agreeing with Vox and making the “extreme right” part of the regional government. In his opinion, they are “climbing and climbing more and more to the mountain.” “They will know,” he added.
In this way, the leader of the PSCyL has explained that the socialists did “nothing but be consistent” in the plenary session of senators, in which the ‘popular’ Javier Maroto and Vidal Galicia and the socialist Fran Díaz were appointed as senators , regional secretary of Socialist Youth. In addition, he has recalled that three years ago his party already voted against the election of Maroto, putting at risk the appointment of two representatives in the Upper House for “maintaining the dignity of Castilla y León.”
Tudanca has insisted that by voting against the list, including their candidate, they tried to maintain that “flame of dignity” and reiterated that “it is difficult” to explain that “someone who is not from here can defend the interests of here ».
On the other hand, the general secretary of the PSCyL has also rejected Vox’s initiative to review the budget of its own institutions, since it has indicated that for “superfluous spending” that of the Vice Presidency “without powers” of Juan García-Gallardo, of the “greater number of senior officials” or to introduce the “extreme right” in the Board to “attack” the rights of women, unions, the LGTBI collective.
