New team of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (LECB), the Montreal Alliance begins its training camp Monday in anticipation of the first season in its history.

The organization’s recent acquisitions, including Kemy Ossé, Samuel Cayo, Hernst Laroche, Samuel Chaput and Marc-André Fortin, as well as the American Sherwood Brown who signed a contract in the last hours, were to appear at the Auditorium of Verdun.
Brown has played in Europe in the most recent campaign, in Finland and Romania. He averaged 10.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per outing, while shooting 39.1 percent of his three-pointers.
“I can’t wait to meet my teammates, the coaching staff and of course the wonderful supporters of the Montreal Alliance,” he said in a statement. It’s a great pleasure to be part of this team and I’m very excited to get on the field, get to work and put on a good show for the fans.
Head coach Vincent Lavandier will oversee the work of his flock who will play their first game on May 25 by visiting the Hamilton Honey Badgers. Four days later, the club will make their home debut against Scarborough Shooting Stars.
