It is not only a necessity for startups. The digitalization of companies experienced in recent years has revolutionized their sales strategies, multiplying the demand for experts in digital marketing. For this reason, EDEM has decided to expand its offer and triple the places for its Master in Digital Marketing, a benchmark in the Valencian Community within its sector, for the next academic year 2022-2023.

Thus, more than one hundred students will be trained in the latest trends in digital marketing, divided into three groups with different start dates: in September, October and November.

“It is the master’s degree in which the most applications and enrollments are made at EDEM, so we offer three groups to guarantee the quality of teaching in the classrooms.

Students learn to establish a digital marketing strategy, to define their client, to build an e-commerce, to automate a database, to create a campaign or to propose a successful communication, central issues in today’s company”, emphasizes Alicia González , director of postgraduate courses at EDEM.

The program is aimed at recent graduates who want to focus their career on digital marketing; to marketing professionals who want to specialize in the most digital part; to CMOs who lead the strategies of their companies; and to entrepreneurs who need to understand the marketing needs of their businesses. The great value proposition of this master’s degree revolves around three variables: teachers, practical content and constant updating.

The content of the master is divided into eight modules: Strategy and methodology; Design and usability, Ecommerce and sales platforms; Corporate communication; Social media; SEO and SEM; digital analytics; and CRM and customer management. A fundamental point of the master’s degree is its teaching staff, made up of professionals who apply what they explain in class in their day-to-day work and who belong to companies such as Amazon, Jeff, Zeus Visual Data, Flat 101, Amazon, Agencia Kids, Airhopping, Increnta or Cecotec, among others.

“In the digital marketing sector we have the feeling every day that we are late for something, which forces us to have the content of the master’s degree always live”, says the academic coordinator of the master’s degree and director of Marketing at Marina de Empresas, Ana Giménez .

«Already in this same edition, our students are already learning issues such as the implementation of Google Analytics 4, how brands are entering the metaverse or carrying out campaigns on social networks such as Tik Tok, which we already included in 2020 with the boom of this network as a result of the quarantine, ”adds Ana Giménez.

The practical component is a central element of the program. The students work in most of their sessions everything explained theoretically through workshops, learning to use the main marketing and sales tools of each of the specializations.

In addition to working on a master’s thesis and a “case study” for each module, many of the students combine their studies with internships. The presence of EDEM in Marina de Empresas, together with the Lanzadera accelerator and the Angels investment company, leads to a high percentage of students ending up doing internships in one of the 300 startups that make up this ecosystem (and even finally becoming part of they).

The 95% employability of the master’s degree is verified by knowing the recognized companies (many of them specialized in digital marketing) in which their students are inserted as soon as they finish their studies, such as Mango, Digital Menta, Druni, Viva Conversión, MSC , Connext, RNB, Microsoft, Increnta or Jeanologia. “Currently, we have more than 200 active companies on the job market linked to this master’s degree,” says Alicia González.

So that no student who wants to take the master’s degree is left without being able to take it for financial reasons, EDEM has strengthened its scholarship system. “Our scholarships can cover up to 75% of the amount of the master’s degree. We value two fundamental aspects: the human degree and excellence of the candidate and his financial need », he explains. The Master in Digital Marketing is held from Monday to Thursday in the afternoon (from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.), in face-to-face format and with a duration of 8 months.
