Hernán Scapusio, co-founder of the company, will continue as president
MADRID, 18 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Agile Content has appointed the former CEO of Amper and former CEO of Alcatel, Alfredo Redondo, as the new CEO of the company, as reported in a statement.
Thus, the company will be managed by the director, who has more than 30 years of experience in the sector, at a time of high growth after the purchase of Euskaltel’s television business.
For his part, the co-founder of the firm and until now its chief executive, Hernán Scapusio, will continue to be president of the company and will contribute to the orientation of the strategic plan and support for execution, focusing on corporate development. Although the incorporation of Redondo is immediate, there will be a transition period until September where he and Scapusio will share functions.
Agile has invoiced 55 million euros in 2021, compared to 20 million euros in the previous year and has an order book of 280 million euros in contracts between three and eight years.
“In the next five years, more than 80 million Europeans will adopt new fiber connections, in a very fragmented and fragmented European market. Our goal is that all these connections are accompanied by a high-tech television service, available to everyone and that it enriches the audiovisual experience”, stressed Scapusio.
