The leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has defended this Wednesday sitting down to negotiate a new financing system, the result of dialogue between all parties, based on the “effective cost of public services” for people and not with an eye on in the territories that, in his opinion, would be “the same as financing allies” of Pedro Sánchez. “Territories are not financed here, people are financed,” said the leader of the PP in Seville in his first pre-campaign act with Juanma Moreno.

Before the Andalusian businessmen, Feijóo has urged to undertake the reform of the system, “with difficulties and with resignations”, to see how we finance 50% of public spending in Spain, which is managed by the communities, compared to 20% by municipalities and 30% the central government«.

The leader of the PP has insisted that it has to be “an agreement between all parties” and must cover the “basic needs” of citizens. «From the delivery room to the death certificate, that is covered by an autonomous community. From nursery school to postgraduate university, that is covered by a community. And to the elderly -he has remarked-, to whom we all owe what we are, those social policies are covered by the autonomous community.
