The Miguel Esteban City Council will make a municipal business center available to local entrepreneurs, a space for temporary shelter for new business initiatives.

This new space, located on the first floor of the building that has been built on Calle Padre Joaquín and Calle La Médica, has three offices equipped with furniture, electricity supply and air conditioning, with an area of 15 square meters each. It also has a multipurpose room of 20 square meters that can be used as a meeting room or as two more offices if there is sufficient demand.

The mayor of Miguel Esteban, Pedro Casas, explained that this new infrastructure is intended to “encourage the creation and consolidation of new businesses and promote job creation and maintenance of jobs, in addition to diversifying the local productive structure by favoring the installation of innovative companies’.

Casas has indicated that it will be aimed primarily at young entrepreneurs or population groups with special difficulty entering the labor market who are committed to self-employment, although it is not closed to any other entrepreneurial initiative. “Beginnings are always difficult and with this center we intend to provide maximum facilities to those who decide to embark on an entrepreneurial adventure”, emphasizes Pedro Casas, who adds that “the business center is located in the center of the town, has all the necessary services and it will be an important meeting point to facilitate coworking».

For his part, the Councilor for Economic Promotion and Employment, Ma

Marcelino Casas, pointed out that the business center “is one more example of the support and commitment of the miguelete city council with entrepreneurs, freelancers and micro-SMEs in the town and represents an affordable solution for those who want to start a business and do not have own place.”

Likewise, it has advanced that in the selection of entrepreneurs, preference will be given to those initiatives whose main activity is identified with emerging or potentially job-generating sectors in Miguel Esteban, assessing the innovative nature of the project, the viability of the business initiative, the level of creation of employment and previous experience and/or training of the applicants.

The period of permanence will be 12 months, extendable up to a maximum of two years. The monthly price for the transfer of each office is 125 euros.
