The Celtics refused to return to Boston 0-2 down in their conference final against the Heat. Thursday in Miami, they pulverized their opponents 127-102 to level the odds in the series.

The Celtics however started the duel badly, they who were already trailing 18 to 8 after just a few minutes. However, this is when they opened the machine. They quickly caught up, before dropping their opponents.

Three visitors’ players have also surpassed the 20-point mark. Jayson Tatum, with 29, was the most productive. He also added five rebounds and as many assists. He was backed up by Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart, who each finished the duel with 24 points. The second also came very close to achieving a triple-double, he who also added 12 assists and nine rebounds to his record.

With a 41-point performance in Game 1 of the series, Jimmy Butler was once again the crowd favorite’s best player. His 29 points, however, were not enough.

The series now heads to Massachusetts for the next two games, Saturday and Monday, respectively.
