A driver in his forties lost his life on Saturday morning during a violent swerve in Saint-Jérôme.
The accident occurred around 5:15 a.m. when the motorist lost control of his vehicle on boulevard Curé-Labelle, not far from rue des Champs.
“The victim was taken back to a hospital center, where he was declared dead on the spot,” said Sergeant Guillaume Lauzon of the Saint-Jérôme police in an interview with the QMI Agency.
The right lane is cut northbound to allow the police to analyze the scene. However, the shops are still open.
