A tornado watch was issued by Environment Canada for several areas of the province on Saturday.
Beauce, Estrie, Bois-Francs, Mauricie and Capitale-Nationale are sectors at risk.
Conditions are favorable for the development of severe thunderstorms that could produce tornadoes this afternoon. Strong winds, large hail and heavy rain are also possible.
