Manises, Quart de Poblet and Mislata will have night public transport from June 15 by extending the Generalitat, through the Agència de Transport Metropolità de Valencia, the schedule of the bus service that connects these towns with Valencia, as announced by the Minister of Territorial Policy, Public Works and Mobility, Rebeca Torró.

«The Ministry of Public Works has chosen to extend the schedule of line 150, which currently covers Aeroport-Manises-Quart-Mislata and Valencia, as an urgent solution to the suppression of the night transport service that the EMT had been providing and which was going to be borne by the ATMV retroactively”, explained the Minister in a statement.

In this way, he added, “from the Generalitat we guarantee that the residents of these municipalities in the metropolitan area of ​​Valencia can have public transport 24 hours a day, since in addition to facilitating the night bus service, the offer there was.

Rebeca Torró has stated that the AVTM continues to work for “accessible, efficient, effective and sustainable public transport in the metropolitan area, in accordance with the real needs of citizens and respectful of the environment, within the commitment of the Generalitat for sustainable mobility within everyone’s reach.

In this sense, he has indicated that in the coming months the Public Service projects of the Metropolitan Area that are planned will be put out to tender and that, among other improvements, they also include night services.

Likewise, the councilor has referred to the five shuttles that link the city of Valencia with different industrial estates and business parks, which the Generalitat has recently launched, as well as the six new regular MetroBus lines that the AVTM launched last year and that are serving the Metropolitan Area.

Both initiatives have led to a total of 257,000 validations and have helped reduce greenhouse gas emissions, noise and the occupation of roads, with a total of 446 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent.

The ATMV will offer night services from June 15 on line 150, currently in service, which connects Manises, Quart de Poblet and Mislata with the center of Valencia (Plaza de España, and Mercado Central).

Thus, line 150, which currently only operated during the day (from 5:20 a.m. to 10:50 p.m.), will extend its hours throughout the night from Monday to Thursday, Sundays and holidays included and will provide continuous 24-hour service (night service added from 11:00 p.m. hours until 5:45 a.m.). On Friday, Saturday and holiday eve nights, the night metro service will be complemented, with a bus service from 3:00 to 7:30.

The proposed service, which will have frequencies of 45 minutes, will run along the main avenues of Valencia (Gran Vía Ramón y Cajal, Avenida del Cid), Mislata (Calle València and Calle San Antonio), Quart de Poblet (Avinguda Antic Regne de València , Calle Joanot Martorell) and Manises (Calle València, Carretera de Riba-roja and Aeropuerto).

The SUMA card allows you to travel on Metrovalencia, EMT, Renfe Cercanías and MetroBus. This new integrated ticket also makes it possible to make a free transfer between different means of transport or between two different EMT or MetroBus lines.
