This Saturday’s fourth stage of the Alpes-Isere Tour departs from Saint-Maurice-L’Exil. It will start at 11.30 a.m. and take a long tour through Sud-Isere, to reach Beaurepaire at 3.46 p.m. that is 171.4 km.

Michel Baup, AIT boss: “This stage is the longest. Things get a lot more serious when we start in Saint-Maurice-L’Exil, a well-known and well-known city. After a long stretch in the plain between Bievre-Rhone, we’ll get closer to the Chambarans. It is not an easy place. But, we will be able to climb the Mont du Faz above Pont-en-Royans. This spectacular coast has stunning landscapes. It’s not clear that runners will have the time or energy to make use of this opportunity. It will be a technical descent. There will be gaps between everything that is left and the finish at Beaurepaire. It will be for those who are strong.
