It seems like the black season in women’s PSG is endless… Following the November attack on midfielder Kheira Hammeraoui, whose chaos never ceases disrupting the locker room, another file has resurfaced.

Didier Olle-Nicolle (60) was “laid off” in the eye of the storm while an internal investigation was conducted by the Parisian club after testimony reporting “inappropriate behavior” towards a player.

A judicial investigation has been opened by the Versailles prosecutor’s Office for “sexual assault by an authority person” and PSG has cancelled its Saturday pre-match press conference.

Paris is also at risk of falling prey to the gloomy atmosphere against OL on Sunday night. They will be defending their 15th league title, and they will either win or draw. Lyon’s five point lead in the championship gives them a strong advantage in the event of defeat. They will then receive Issy (10th) as a close to a season of reconquest.

However, being crowned champions in Parisian soil would be a highly symbolic event for the Lyonnaises. They were deprived of their title last season after 14 seasons of reigning under PSG. Also, they faced PSG in the quarter-finals 2021 Champions League.

Captain Wendie Renard warned that there are only two days to go and that a five point lead would be enough for us to win the title if we take our commitments seriously.

The Martiniquaise with her partners have already restored some hierarchy by defeating PSG C1 semi-final (2 victories 3-2, 2-1), prelude to their capital performance against Barcelona (3-1 ), to win their 8th Champions League.

OL had already infected Paris in the November 6-1 leg of the league. This was at the heart Hamraoui’s affair. PSG could barely contain themselves after lifting the Coupe de France, thereby eliminating the Rhone club. After the Cup final in May, Grace Geyoro, Paris captain, admitted that “the season has been emotionally difficult.”

The 48th edition of D1 will be the epilogue. PSG has not reserved its Parc des Princes as in C1 last week, but the Jean-Bouin stadium is where the clash at the summit of French women’s football will take places.

Aside from business, Parisian club is likely to be upset by Marie-Antoinette Catoto’s contract expiry. She is the best player in D1 and is slow to extend her contract. Multiple media reports claim that OL is also interested in the striker.

Broadcast on Canal at prime time, the final of the Men’s Champions League was broadcast. Although less decisive than previous posters, the poster at the top falls just before the announcement of the list for Blue for the Women’s Euro this summer (July 6-31).

Coach Corinne Deacon will reveal 23 names of players traveling to England Monday during TF1’s 1 p.m. News.

For those who doubt their call-up (e.g. Eugenie Le Sommer and Amandine Henry), this PSG-OL will be their last chance to shine.
