A storm on the High Rhine blew a treetop onto a railway track between Waldshut-Tiengen and Lauchringen (Waldshut district). Train traffic was stopped on this section on Sunday afternoon, a spokesman for Deutsche Bahn announced. Trains turned around at Waldshut and Lauchringen train stations. When asked that evening, the route closure was lifted again at around 5 p.m.

The regional train with the code RB30 usually runs on the route between Basel (Switzerland) and Singen.
