A man died and nine other people were injured as a result of an accident that occurred late yesterday morning in the province of Valladolid, consisting of a van leaving the road while driving at kilometer 188 of the A-62, at the height of the Valladolid town of Alaejos.

The alert call was received by the room of the 1-1-2 Castilla y León Emergency Center at 11:53 a.m., and it reported that the van had gone off the road while it was traveling towards Salamanca and the existence of, at least four people injured, two of them unconscious.

The 1-1-2 operations room gave notice of the incident to the Civil Traffic Guard of Valladolid and to Emergencies Sanitarias – Sacyl, which sent two medical helicopters, two medical teams from Alaejos and Arévalo, three basic life support ambulances and one ICU. mobile.

At the scene, Sacyl staff confirmed the death of a 30-year-old man and treated nine other people: a 51-year-old man who was transferred to the Medina del Campo Hospital in a mobile ICU; a 33-year-old man who was transferred by medical helicopter to the Río Hortega University Hospital in Valladolid; a 30-year-old woman who was evacuated by medicalized helicopter to the University Clinical Hospital of Valladolid; a 39-year-old man who was transferred by basic life support ambulance, accompanied by a medical team, to the Medina del Campo Hospital; and a 37-year-old man who was transferred by basic life support ambulance to the University Hospital of Salamanca. Four other men aged 31, 22, 29 and 21 refused the transfer.
