Tyrie Cleveland, a Broncos receiver was taken off the practice field. However, he tweeted positive news Monday night.
“It’s okay everybody! MRI came back good. Cleveland wrote, “I appreciate you all.”
Mike Klis from 9News reports that Cleveland doesn’t have an Achilles injury, as was feared. Instead, he has a fracture to his ankle.
Cleveland was taken down in the final play of the minicamp practice.
He was a seventh-round pick by the Broncos in 2020 and has played 17 games in just two seasons. As a rookie, he caught six passes for 63 yard and spent most of his time with special teams. He played 101 offensive snaps and 261 on special team.
