The Valladolid town of Mojados will celebrate in the next few days a cultural week dedicated to Carlos V (due to the importance that this historical figure had for the municipality), with a whole series of activities sponsored by the Rueda Wine Route, which will offer tastings at the end of the different sessions.
The events will be held at the Círculo Cultural auditorium in the town from Monday, June 27 to Thursday, June 30, both inclusive, at 7:30 p.m. each day.
On Monday, Julio Vallés Rojo will offer a presentation on the king’s tastes and gastronomic habits. Tuesday will be for the presentation of the book ‘Juana, the queen who slept under the marble’, by Juan Manuel Olcese, with the author himself.
The next day, another writer, Víctor Fernández Correas, will speak about his work ‘Mülberg’. On Thursday, the Carlos Belloso cycle will close with the talk ‘The general pardon of Carlos V to the Comuneros. 5th Centenary (1522-2022)’.
