An 82-year-old woman has burned to death due to a fire that occurred in her home in Móstoles and another 82-year-old man who was also at home has been taken to the hospital for poisoning, sources have informed Europa Press of Emergencies 112 Community of Madrid.
The Emergency Center received a call at 4:44 p.m. this Sunday in which they reported a fire in a house on Río Llobregat de Móstoles street.
The Summa-112 medical team has moved to the scene of the fire and has confirmed the death of the 82-year-old woman. In addition, they have treated three intoxicated by smoke.
One of them, an 82-year-old male who was also inside the burned house, has been stabilized and transferred with a moderate prognosis and minor burns on his hands to the University Hospital of Móstoles.
Likewise, the toilets have treated a 72-year-old neighbor with mild smoke poisoning who has also been transferred to the same hospital. Finally, Summa-112 doctors have assisted a 28-year-old man mildly intoxicated by smoke but who has been discharged at the scene.
For their part, the Móstoles Fire Department has extinguished the fire that has affected the entire house, while the National Police and the Móstoles Police are investigating the causes of the fire.
