The Tagus Hydrographic Confederation (CHT) has acted on the Alberche river as it passes through the municipality of Escalona, with the aim of improving the state of the riparian vegetation and conditioning of the area called beaches and islands, respecting at all times the original riverbanks and the species associated with them. This action, which has been carried out throughout the month of June, affects about 1,750 meters with a budget of 30,031.35 euros.
At the same time, the technical services of the Tajo Hydrographic Confederation are drafting a project to improve the state of the riparian vegetation and the longitudinal and transversal connectivity of the river, from the Cazalegas reservoir to Santa Cruz del Retamar, through the application of curage techniques. and planting riparian vegetation.
For the reconnaissance of the areas, drone flight has been used.
