The week starts warm and sunny in North Rhine-Westphalia, then it gets cooler and rainy. Temperatures of up to 25 degrees are expected at the beginning of the week, on Wednesday they can drop below 20 degrees, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Sunday.
The DWD does not expect precipitation in NRW on Monday. In the south in particular it should often be sunny, otherwise only thin veil clouds and few cumulus clouds are expected during the course of the day. With temperatures of 23 to 25 degrees, a bright September day is imminent. At night it should cool down to 16 to 12 degrees, especially in the north-west and west it can rain a little.
According to the DWD forecast, Tuesday will be much less friendly: heavy clouds, rain in places, temperatures of 21 to 24 degrees. Heavy cloud cover is expected to continue on Wednesday night, and it may rain, especially in the south.
Finally, on Wednesday there will be heavy continuous rain in the south of NRW. In the north, on the other hand, hardly any precipitation is expected. The temperatures should reach 17 to 22 degrees.
