Decades of grudges have apparently led a New Jersey man to routinely urinate on his ex-wife’s grave. As several US media (including “New York Post”, “Daily Voice”) reported, the children of the dead have now convicted the man through video recordings.

According to the reports, Linda T. was briefly married to the man in the 1970s. She even got pregnant, but the couple divorced in 1974. However, because the man’s family continued to stand by T., anger is said to have built up in her ex-husband, whom he left out on the tombstone in the most unsavory way imaginable.

According to “Daily Voice”, the children of the dead became aware of the desecration of the resting place because they repeatedly found bags filled with feces at the grave. The cemetery administration finally allowed cameras to be set up.

The video footage shows the man driving his car to the cemetery in the morning, leaving it with the engine running, and then going about his business at the gravestone.

The dead man’s son suspects that the trip to the cemetery was almost a daily ritual for the ex-husband. The man’s current partner was sitting in the car. “I can’t get my wife to go out to dinner, but this guy gets his wife to desecrate my mother’s remains with him every morning!” the son told the New York Post. “I’ve never been so angry in my life.”

Together with his siblings, he informed the police about the man’s visits to the cemetery. According to the information, grave desecration is only a crime in the state if the damage exceeds $250. This threshold has now been reached because the bereaved had the grave professionally cleaned, it said. Now they want to make a new attempt at the authorities.
