The morning after the parliamentary elections, the country is in a shambles: the majority of Italians either voted for a right-wing extremist, nationalist or left-wing populist party or did not go to the polls at all. The favorite Giorgia Meloni lived up to expectations and won the elections. According to projections, she received almost 26 percent of the votes.
