Everyone looks for their place on the theater stage in the canteen, lies on their backs, arms next to their bodies. Just lying down: This is how Meria-Ann Schmieding started the first lesson a few months ago with her class in the district school in Hamburg-Rissen. The 34-year-old teacher waits patiently until everyone is ready. Two girls are tickling each other on the wall on the left, and there are space problems on the right. It’s already quiet in the middle. More and more children are now lying on the floor with their eyes closed. Relaxing music comes out of a small jukebox.
