Emergencies: Canister with radioactive symbols found: all clear

Passers-by found a canister with a radioactive symbol in the pedestrian zone in Freiburg. A short time later, the police and fire department gave the all-clear, said a police spokesman. Measurements taken by the fire department on the canister showed that there was no danger to people. The spokesman said the investigation into the origin of the bucket was ongoing. According to the information, the radioactive symbol was removed and the canister was disposed of as bulky waste.
