Niva Meta is a therapist in the psychological support team for the families of the hostages in Tel Aviv. The 67-year-old was repeatedly called during the conversation, by colleagues from the hostage forum, but also by relatives of the hostages. She jumps up, rushes to have a conversation and comes back after a quarter of an hour. A number of family members and friends of missing people come and go. When a man drops a box of posters on the floor, many people whirl around in shock. Niva Meta presses her hand to her heart. “That’s what Israel is like right now,” she says. “The shock is still in our bones.”
