In December a year ago, everything happened very quickly: the traffic light government had barely been in office for two days when it pushed the institution-related vaccination requirement through parliament. Even the FDP, which was reluctant to take measures, was in favor because the Delta variant caused the number of corona infections to shoot up to unimagined heights. And the law didn’t even go far enough for the opposition. The Union demanded that vaccination should not only apply to employees in hospitals and care facilities, but also to teachers and educators.

Eleven months later, there is hardly anyone who thinks partial vaccination is a good thing.
