A driver crashed his car into a tree in Hüde in the Diepholz district and died. According to the first findings, the 28-year-old drove at excessive speed on a winding road on Sunday morning, said a police spokesman. Suddenly, the driver left the road in a right-hand bend, drove over several street signs and finally crashed head-on into a tree. The man died at the scene of the accident. Several fire brigades were busy recovering the wreck.
