ATHENS, Ga. — The last seconds of the final seconds were meaningless.

Except for the Georgia defense.

The Bulldogs’ fearsome defense gave up two touchdowns Saturday for the first time this season. They won another victory, their first as the new nation’s No. They defeated No. 11 Kentucky by a score of 30-13. 11 Kentucky

Despite their determination to keep Kentucky from scoring at end, and the lengths that the Wildcats went for their second TDs, Georgia is at its best right now.

The Bulldogs (7–0, 5-0 Southeastern Conference), aren’t satisfied with just winning.

They want to kill their opponents.

Adam Anderson, linebacker, stated that although there are only 4 seconds left in quarter four, we don’t want anyone in our end zone. “I’m still hurting right now.”

Stetson Bennett started his third consecutive game in the place of JT Daniels who was injured. He threw for 250 yard and three touchdown passes. Two of those to Brock Bowers, a freshman tight end.

After the game was decided, Kentucky (6-1 and 4-1) drove to the Georgia 1 for a first down in the final minute.

Will Levis was caught on a sneaky quarterback. JuTahn McLain was stopped without any gain. The Wildcats decided to call their last timeout, rather than letting the clock run out.

They finally scored. Levis gave a quick slant pass to Wan’Dale Robinson. He dived into the end zone with four seconds left, and the crowd cheered loudly.

Georgia’s defense gave up just two touchdowns this season. Kentucky was able to surpass that mark, but the Bulldogs aren’t done yet.

They were clearly furious and blocked one more point in order to keep the point off the board.

Kirby Smart, the coach of Kirby Smart’s team, said that it was just pride. They surrender a meagre 6.6 points per game. “When you compete at the highest levels to become the best in the nation, that doesn’t matter what scoreboard it is or how long it takes.
