Who will follow Kaiserslautern to Berlin? On Wednesday evening, first division team Bayer Leverkusen will face surprise team Fortuna Düsseldorf in the second DFB Cup semi-final. The game in the BayArena starts at 8:45 p.m.

Bayer Leverkusen is facing a euphoric season finale. The Werkself are far and away at the top of the Bundesliga. Leverkusen also reached the quarter-finals of the Europa League. After the 3-2 win against VfB Stuttgart in February, the DFB Cup semi-final is scheduled for this Wednesday.

Düsseldorf is also having a successful season and is in the promotion race for the 2nd Bundesliga. With Leverkusen, however, the first first division team is now waiting for Fortuna. The Düsseldorf team has so far defeated Illertissen, Unterhaching, Magdeburg and St. Pauli to reach the semi-finals.

The game will be broadcast live on ZDF. The public broadcaster also offers a live stream in the media library. Sven Voss will moderate the event and Claudia Neumann will comment on the semi-finals.

As in previous years, the pay TV channel “Sky” will broadcast all games in the cup competition live. Both broadcasts of the semi-finals start at 8:15 p.m.
