Brendan Rodgers has been a success in Leicester, which has receipted with a contract up to 2025.

Kasper Schmeichels club, Leicester City have extended the contract with manager Brendan Rodgers until the summer of 2025, announces the club on its website.

The northern irish manager came to the club at the end of February and have had great success with the team, which immediately occupies the second place in the Premier League.

He has won 17 of the 26 Premier League matches since he came to, and in this season it’s been for the impressive 11 wins and 2 draws out of 15 matches.

It is only surpassed by Liverpool, which has won 14 of its 15 matches and tops the league.

Brendan Rodgers, who previously was in charge of Liverpool, came to Leicester after some successful years in the scottish Celtic, whom he led to several trophies.

With the scottish large groups he fetched two championships and five cup titles (there are two cups in Scotland).

He was in charge of Liverpool from June 2012 to October 2015, where he was fired due to failing results.

In his second season with Liverpool he was close to securing the club it’s first championship since 1990, but the team threw it all on the floor in the last rounds, as Manchester City snatched the title.

Leicester won, in turn, sensationally the championship in the season 2015/2016, but until this season has the team had difficulty to interfere in topstriden again.
