So like, there were these people who support Trump, right? And then there were these other people who were like, not really into Trump. They all met up in West Hollywood and Beverly Hills on Sunday and things got a little crazy.

The Trump supporters were all about getting people to leave the Democratic Party and join the Republicans. Former Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz was there talking about how great the Republican Party is and how the Democrats are all angry and lonely. He didn’t mention his whole scandal with the Department of Justice, but like, that’s probably not important, right?

There was this rally called the “American Restoration Tour” where a bunch of former liberals who are now Trump fans spoke out. One lady talked about how she lost her jobs and her grandma died alone because of the pandemic shutdowns, which made her switch sides. Another guy mentioned how he felt ostracized in West Hollywood for not thinking the same way as everyone else.

Things got a little heated at the rally, with a small fight breaking out and one person getting arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. But like, overall, it was pretty peaceful, I guess.

Before the rally, Trump supporters marched through West Hollywood chanting “Walk away from hate” while counter-protesters yelled stuff like “No KKK! No fascist USA! No Trump!” It was a whole thing.

There was this one lady who called the Trump supporters bigots and said they were attacking the LGBTQ+ community. But then this gay guy mentioned how conservative groups are more open to dialogue, so I guess it’s not all black and white.

After the rally, the former lead singer of the Runaways, Cherie Currie, sang a song and talked about supporting the “Gays Against Groomers” movement. It was all very interesting, to say the least.

So yeah, that’s what went down in West Hollywood and Beverly Hills on Sunday. Not really sure why this matters, but hey, it’s news, right?
