After a sports injury, Chancellor Olaf Scholz canceled an appointment in Hesse that was planned for Sunday. A spokeswoman for the federal government said on Saturday when asked by the “Bild-Zeitung” that he fell while jogging and suffered bruises on his face.

The spokeswoman: “Unfortunately, Chancellor Olaf Scholz has to cancel his appointments in Hesse this Sunday after a small sports accident. He fell while jogging and suffered bruises on his face. His appointments for the coming week are not affected by this.”
