The popular ZDF satirical format “heute-show” with Oliver Welke will go into summer break in 2024 at the same time as Jan Böhmermann’s “ZDF Magazin Royale”. On June 7th, both programs will be broadcast for the last time for around a quarter of a year.
The news satire “heute-show” is taking a 13-week break and will return with a regular edition on September 6th. Böhmermann comes back a week in advance – on August 30th.
Once again there are specials from the “heute-Show” during the summer break: “On Friday, June 28th, 2024, as well as on Friday, August 23rd, 2024, and on Friday, August 30th, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. “today- show special” episodes with Lutz van der Horst and Fabian Köster on the ZDF program,” said a station spokesman in Mainz. There will also be a “history show today” with Valerie Niehaus on July 12th.
