Amazon Prime Video’s popular comedy series “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” will end with the upcoming fifth season, as has been known for a long time. Amazon has now revealed the start date of the final episodes of the show in a first teaser for the last chapter: On April 14 of this year, the first three episodes of season five will appear on Prime Video in one fell swoop. It continues on a weekly basis, so that the series finale can be expected on June 2nd.
In the final episodes of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, the title character, played by Emmy Award-winner Rachel Brosnahan, 32, is said to be closer than ever to her dream of success, only to find out she still has a fair amount of work to do in the official storyline for season five. Armed with her sharp wits and sharp tongue, Midge Maisel will fight for her glory.
“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” is one of the most successful series productions from Amazon’s streaming service. Set in the late 1950s, the show has received 20 Emmys in recent years, including the prestigious Emmy for Best Comedy Series in 2018. Behind the production are the spouses Amy Sherman-Palladino (57) and Daniel Palladino as co-showrunners.
