what is an ordinary life ? After Georges Perros, who gave this title to a novel, poem octosyllabes (1967), Adèle Van Reeth takes up the question : is this a life that is orderly, natural, everyday, mundane ? The obvious, the common, the background noise that is heard no more, but leaves us helpless when it stops ? It does not seek, as Perec, and the other George of the 1970s, to “ask the usual” , to uncover “the infra-ordinary” but in désengluer, not aspiring to the good life of the anchorites. No : stay in the world, stay alive.
