The Swiss singer Faber (30) gave his fans “bad news” in an Instagram post. He wrote about a selfie that was apparently taken in the hospital: “Unfortunately I had to have an emergency operation. Everything will be fine. No permanent damage. Luckily.” However, it breaks his heart that he unfortunately has to postpone the upcoming tour. “We have to wait for a medical report to be able to estimate when I can play concerts again,” explained the singer-songwriter.
The team is working hard on new dates for the tour and the album release. Fans should be informed about the new dates and how the return process is going within the next ten days. Numerous musician colleagues, including Bosse (43) and Felix Kummer (34), wished the singer a speedy recovery in the comments section of the post.
Faber, real name Julian Pollina, would have celebrated his tour start on October 1st in Munich. Appearances were also planned in Dresden, Hamburg, Berlin, Essen and Cologne, among others. The last concert was planned for October 31st in the Swiss town of Rubigen.
In mid-August he explained in an Instagram post about his new record and the tour: “I made a new album and I’m over the moon. It’s called ‘Addio’ and will be released on February 9th, 2024. “Playing live has always been mine All the best” and that’s why he planned a small tour this October where he wanted to “play” the album. “So we can first discover ‘Addio’ together as it is intended, in one piece and face to face.”
