The Queen’s two corgis have found a nice new home: since the death of Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022, Prince Andrew (63) and ex-wife Sarah Ferguson (63) have been taking care of their dogs. Now Fergie has revealed on a BBC radio show how the corgis Muick and Sandy are doing today.

“They’re doing great. They’re really happy and their tails aren’t hanging down anymore, so I think they’re recovering from their grief.”

The Queen, the Duchess continued, apparently raised the corgis very gently: “If you give them a small dog treat, they take it very carefully.”

Ferguson and her ex-husband are still almost a married couple 27 years after their divorce. They live next door to each other in the “Royal Lodge” on the grounds of Windsor Castle, so they can look after the dogs together. The relationship with their daughters, Princess Beatrice (34) and Princess Eugenie (33), is also good: the York family is a “supporting unit”.
