After several months of silence on her Instagram account, Sarah Connor (42) reported back to her fans. In a new video, the singer explains the reason for her absence: After a serious skiing accident, she had to learn to walk again.
“I hurt myself badly while skiing at the end of last year and it really took me a few months to learn to walk properly again,” explains Connor. She suffered a triple injury to her knee – tore the cruciate ligament and torn the inner ligament and meniscus. “It didn’t work anymore and that’s why I just needed a break,” says the singer. The time was also a big mental challenge, Connor writes about the video.
In the meantime she is fit again: “You see, my feet, my legs are working and I can do everything again, thanks to great help from great physiotherapists and great doctors. And of course my stubborn will that I don’t just put up with this,” says Connor as she jumps up and down in the video. The singer wants to be back on stage from mid-May.
