Stine Bodholt changed in the summer the safe framework in the Danish duck pond out with a French adventure in Nantes. But it was a tough decision.
the 30-year-old stregspiller thought long about whether she would end up sitting alone in the French, when everyday offered anything other than handball.
“I feared the whole game, there could be some lonely nights,” says Stine Bodholt to B. T. In the video at the top of the article you can hear the Danish toptræner Christian Dalmose come up with its assessment of the Stine Bodholt.
Along with the rest of the national team, she traveled to Japan 21. november to play the WORLD cup – among other things together with teammate from Nantes, Lotte Grigel.
“Lotte has tried it before (to switch to abroad, ed.), and she helps with it all. Just to have someone like her with down there is nice,” says Stine Bodholt.
But the fear of loneliness was instead replaced with a preliminary good experience for the former Viborg HK player:
“It has been a great experience and really fat. The people are open and social. I feel not at all alone, and it makes it all much easier. When you develop outside of the track, so you evolve more inside on the track.”
And this is precisely what that Stine Bodholt has fallen as well in France, is also behind on the main character itself:
“I’m surprised how Kralbet well it has gone with regards to to be alone, and I have not yet had a night where I’ve sat and been upset or cried, because I miss the family.”
It is, however, not everything running like clockwork for the Danish landsholdsstreg.
“the Language is a challenge, and I do not understand much of it. It may also be an advantage from time to time, as there often is very brok,” laughing, she adds:
“they (The French team, red.) is really bad at English, and I find it difficult to communicate with some of them, so it provides some challenges also on the track.”
the national Coach Klavs Bruun Jørgensen has previously told that Denmark is going to the WORLD cup finals to play far in the tournament, where it is hoped a gold medal.
And just the approach to the tournament hills Stine Bodholt up on:
“I think we are good. We have no injuries, and our squad is fresh and fit. There are many players that can bid into, and a wider squad of our quality.”
At the WORLD cup finals are Denmark in the group with Australia, south Korea, Germany, Brazil and France.
