In the US original of the animated film “Garfield – An Extra Portion of Adventure”, actor Chris Pratt (44) lends his voice to the legendary cat. As he revealed during the premiere on May 19th in Hollywood, he would also like to have a very special woman at his side when filming.

He revealed in an interview with “People” that he had asked his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger (34) to star in a film with him. “I asked her. I think she could be great. Because she’s actually a very good actress.” However, the author and blogger was very concerned that she would laugh too much while filming. He actually has to agree with her on this point, because once she starts laughing, she can’t stop. “So she’d probably laugh through the whole take and ruin it.”

Katherine Schwarzenegger did, however, accompany her husband to the premiere at the TCL Chinese Theater in Los Angeles. While he wore a brown checked suit on the orange carpet to match Garfield’s, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s daughter (76) posed in a blue trouser ensemble with embroidery.

The film will only be released in cinemas in the USA on May 24th, and in Germany it has been running since May 9th.

The couple has been married since 2019 and has two daughters Lyla Maria (3) and Eloise Christina, who celebrates her second birthday on May 21st. Pratt also has a son Jack (11) from his marriage to Anna Faris (47). The actor revealed to People that his new work will appeal to all of his children: “A film like ‘Garfield’ is really for all ages, and my daughters are both very young. My son is eleven, so he’s seen a lot of things I’m in, but my girls have never seen anything I’ve seen. So that will probably be the first thing they see.”
