More than a month after the death of the actress Nadja Tiller, part of the estate of her and her husband Walter Giller, who died in 2011, has been sold in Hamburg. “The proceeds are more than 15,000 euros – that’s a very proud sum,” said a spokesman for the non-profit organization Hamburg Leuchtfeuer, which receives the income for its work.
The household of the couple of actors who last lived in the Hanseatic city was offered as part of a benefit event. Items sold included furnishings, antiques, pictures, books and other personal belongings of the couple.
The proceeds benefit the charitable grieving work of the pilot house of Hamburg beacon. With the campaign, Leuchtfeuer also wanted to show that charitable organizations can also be considered in wills. The family of the two decided to donate in their will because the couple had enjoyed volunteering in the Hanseatic city during their lifetime. Nadja Tiller died in Hamburg on February 21 at the age of 93, her husband in 2011.
