“Black Mirror” is entering the next round: Netflix has announced the sixth season of the hit series for June of this year. Well-known names will also appear in the series again, Aaron Paul (43), Josh Hartnett (44), Kate Mara (40) and Salma Hayek (56) are among the best known.

Other stars include Annie Murphy (36), Ben Barnes (41), Danny Ramirez (30), Himesh Patel (32), Rory Culkin (33), John Hannah (61), Michael Cera (34), Paapa Essiedu ( 32), Rob Delaney (46) and Zazie Beetz (31).

There is already a first trailer – so the sixth season will be just as dark and dystopian as the previous ones, but even more violent.

Series creator Charlie Brooker (52) had already revealed on the Tudum fan page that he had broken some of his own rules for the new episodes. “Variety” speculates that this could mean that the episodes are connected this time.

There would be “a few new elements, including some that I previously swore the show would never do,” Brooker explained. Nevertheless, the stories are all “tonally still ‘Black Mirror’ through and through”, but with “crazy twists and more variety” than ever before.
