On May 27 from 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben it’s that time again: “Beat the Star” starts a new round and this time the musicians Alec Völkel (51) and Sascha Vollmer (51) from The BossHoss will meet with the Comedians Bastian Bielendorfer (38) and Özcan Cosar (42) from the podcast “Bratwurst und Baklava” duel.
In the run-up to the show, the duelists now attracted attention with pithy sayings. “If their jokes were only half as good as our music, then the two would be superstars,” said the two The BossHoss musicians in a statement from the broadcaster. Völkel and Vollmer “came here very hungry” and see their opponents as light fare: “The main course is bratwurst and baklava for dessert.” The two also have ideas for a film adaptation of the show: “Comedians pave our way!” or “Four fists for two jokers!”
But Bielendorfer and Cosar counterattacked immediately: “Dear leisure cowboys, when we’re done with you, you’ll both work on the pony farm.” The comedians see their opponents only in one case at an advantage: “In terms of failure, they are the best!”
The two duos compete against each other in up to 15 rounds in a direct comparison in “Schlag den Star”. In the end, the winners receive 100,000 euros. The show will once again be moderated by Elton (52), the games will be commented on by Ron Ringguth (57).
