Since the beginning of August this year, there have been increasing indications that Duchess Meghan could celebrate her comeback on Instagram. Since then, there has been a profile with the simple name @meghan, which, according to “Page Six”, is attributed to the Duchess. Prince Harry’s wife hasn’t posted anything there yet, should it really be about her profile. According to the latest assessments by a social media expert, which he made in an interview with the “Daily Mail”, she should think about it as much as possible.
The man named Eric Schiffer is sure that the Duchess could have “one of the most followed accounts on Instagram” in no time at all. When it comes to monetizing individual posts, she doesn’t have to hide behind absolute showbiz greats: “There are celebrities, such as the Kardashians, who can charge a million dollars or more to sell a product in a single post promote. There’s nothing wrong with Meghan earning that kind of fee.”
This thesis is supported by the fact that almost 90,000 people are already following the Duchess of Sussex’s alleged account – although with the exception of the “Meghan” lettering and a profile picture showing pink flowers, nothing can be seen or read there.
Before her marriage to Prince Harry, the former actress was very active on social media. She gave up her successful lifestyle blog “The Tig” after her relationship with Prince Harry became known. The royal couple could later be found on Instagram on their joint official account @sussexroyal. After Megxit 2020, their retirement as working members of the Royals, they put the account on hold.
According to “Page Six”, Duchess Meghan allegedly wanted to launch her new Instagram account a year ago. But then the former Suits actress focused on her podcast Archetypes. However, Spotify pulled the plug after just one season and despite good access figures. In mid-June it was announced that there would be no second season – and that the collaboration with Spotify would be completely discontinued.
