forces-shaping-future-workplace-the-hindu-huddle-nsights

The forces shaping work and the workplace have totally changed in the last few years. Technology has had a big impact on jobs, making some easier and putting others in danger. But then, we also had stuff like the COVID-19 pandemic that totally changed how we think about work. And let’s not forget about the political shifts in some places that fueled an anti-DEI movement. So, what does the future hold for work and workplaces? In a world that’s going all digital, what skills are gonna be the hottest? And are we gonna stick with this whole hybrid work thing after the pandemic is over?

These are some big questions that are gonna be tackled during this panel discussion called “Let’s Talk Work: The Future of the Workplace” by The Hindu Huddle. We got some heavy hitters on the panel like K. Ganesh, who’s a serial entrepreneur and partner at Growthstory; Hemant Malik, the big boss at ITC’s Foods division; Jayen Mehta, the Managing Director at Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation; and Suparna Mitra, the Chief Executive Officer at Titan’s Watches and Wearables Division. The whole thing will be kept in check by L.V. Navaneeth, the CEO of The Hindu Group. This Huddle is gonna happen on May 9 and 10 in Bengaluru.

The panelists are gonna dive into how business models, what employees and customers want, and technology are all shaping the workforce today and setting the priorities. They’re gonna talk about all the cool stuff like integrating AI, how hybrid work is changing, what’s up with the gig economy, and why it’s so important to keep learning new skills. They’ll also look at how companies are doing with their ESG goals (that’s environmental, social, and governance stuff), taking care of their employees’ well-being, and making sure everyone is included through diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. If you got any burning questions you want our moderator to ask the panel, hit us up at huddle@thehindu.co.in.
