So, like, the Central Board of Secondary Education just spilled the tea on Tuesday (May 13, 2025) about the Class 12 board exam results. And guess what? Girls totally slayed this year, outshining the boys by a whopping 5 percentage points! Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj spilled the deets, sharing that 88.39% of students passed this year, which is a lil’ bit higher than last year. Girls were all like “move over, boys” with a pass percentage of 91.64%, while the boys were lagging behind at 85.70%.
And let’s not forget about our fabulous transgender candidates who aced it with a 100% pass percentage this year, compared to just 50% last year. Talk about leveling up! Over 1.15 lakh students scored above 90% marks, and more than 24,000 candidates slayed the game with over 95%. Like, seriously, these students are on fire! But hey, not everything is rainbows and sunshine, ’cause over 1.29 lakh candidates got stuck in compartment limbo. A total of 16,92,794 candidates took the Class 12 board exams this year, which is like, a whole lot of stress and late-night study sessions.
