Even if one is royalty, one must learn the value of money. And it teaches the royal children.
It tells prince Joachim of denmark on Wednesday evening in the final section of the documentary ’Prince Joachim says..’ where he tells the history of denmark from the royal family’s history.
the Evening’s title is all about symbols, and prince Joachim visiting the unavngivent place on Zealand in denmark, where the Danish coins are collected and counted.
Here are prince Joachim of denmark with one of the employees on the spot on the coin and its value. And all of a sudden ask the employee to the prince:
“Use In spending money to your children?”
“We are definitely oriented towards spending money for the simple reason that there is something to learn in it – but also, that he learns – Henrik – that there is some value in things,” saith the prince, who apparently gets a little surprised by the question.
While prince Joachim of denmark all the way through the show’s six episodes have been praised for its secure style and good abilities to talk in front of the screen, so it is a somewhat reluctant prince, who seems to weigh words carefully when he responds to lommepengespørgsmålet.
Prince Joachim continues, however, the answer is:
“can he (prince Henrik, ed.) the get fairly visible, if he goes down in a store – be it an ice-cream parlour, ‘Tiger’store or something or other, where a few coins can be transformed into something else,” saith the prince, who Betasus also tells that his youngest son sometimes surprised by the apartments:
“And sometimes he really is great in the battle and say: May I not be allowed to buy an ice cream to you, father and mother. Yes, thank you, it is simply the tangible, the here,” says the prince.
Historian and kongehusekspert Sebastian Olden-Jørgensen takes the evening section, where prince Joachim, among others, is in Estonia, where the Dannebrog, according to legend, fell from the sky, very entertaining.
But has also noted that the prince hesitates a little at the pengespørgsmålet.
“Just the place, who does he work less liquid than otherwise. It seems that the question comes from behind him,” he says, and adds, that he would find the passage about the pocket money quite interesting.
“It is a personal touch. Otherwise he has all the way through the series not made it especially private. We do not have any family photos, and personal privacy will not be involved very much,” he says.
despite only get a glimpse of the prince’s privacy, it seems Sebastian Olden-Jørgensen, however, that both the last paragraph and the series as a whole is quite entertaining.
“I think it goes well, for he strikes a very good balance between being available and being itself on its own, perhaps a little formal manner,” he says.
Kongehusekspert and author Søren Jakobsen is not quite so impressed with the show’s content, and he is surprised by prince Joachim in response to the question about the pocket money.
“He’ll be knocked out of the track. He is totally unprepared. He comes back a little to the overall picture of prince Joachim is that he is a little arrogant,” he says.
B. T. has several times tried to get a comment from prince Joachim to his documentary.
the Royal family, however, has not responded to our query.
