The 2022 work calendar approved by the Generalitat establishes that Friday, June 24, will be a paid and non-recoverable holiday throughout the Valencian Community. Unlike last year, when those who fought on Saint John’s Day had to return the hours to their companies, the 2022 work calendar sets June 24 as a holiday for all purposes and in all Valencian municipalities.

Apart from June 24, during the month there are towns that have declared other public holidays at the municipal level, such as in the city of Alicante.

In fact, the Generalitat declared Monday, August 15, as a paid and non-recoverable holiday for labor purposes, on the occasion of the celebration of the Assumption of the Virgin.
