The weekend in Thuringia is supposed to be cloudy and sunny on Sunday. “Friday has a very cloudy to overcast character. Light rain is moving from west to east,” said a spokesman for the German Weather Service (DWD) on Friday. The maximum temperatures are between 13 and 16 degrees, at higher altitudes between 10 and 13 degrees. Showers are forecast at night and isolated thunderstorms in the evening. Nighttime lows are between 6 and 10 degrees.
According to the DWD, there will be a lot of clouds and showers on Saturday morning. In the morning it will remain dry despite the clouds. The maximum temperatures are between 13 and 16 degrees, at higher altitudes between 9 and 12 degrees. In the night to Sunday it cools down to lows of 3 to 6 degrees, occasionally flat patches of fog form.
“Sunday will be quite friendly,” said the spokesman. The maximum temperatures are therefore between 14 and 16 degrees, at higher altitudes between 8 and 13 degrees. On Monday night, temperatures will drop to lows of 3 and 6 degrees. There is widespread frost near the ground. “The cool weather of the last few days is over for now,” said the spokesman. Monday is expected to be mild and mostly dry.
