The Veyrignac Church Safeguard Association organizes guided tours in the Chateau de Veyrignac every year. Asev, part of Rendez-vous aux jardins and under the Ministry of Culture, offers tours to the castle from Saturday, 4 June to Sunday, 5 June.
The monument is privately owned. The association’s president Chantal Beaudron, however, allows access to the garden. The 180-degree belvedere, which is located above the Dordogne, includes this magnificent 18th-century residence and its garden.
Nine themed gardens will be available for visitors to enjoy as backdrops to the castle’s historic setting. This magnificent park features nine themed gardens in different styles, including Anglo-Chinese, French and Italian.
Volunteers from the structure will be accompanying bilingual guided tours in English and French on Saturday, June 4, from 1-7 p.m., and French on Sunday June 5, from 10-7 p.m.
All proceeds and funds raised from this visit will be used to renovate the village church.
Prices for adults: 10 Euros; children are free
