The Civil Guard has opened an investigation after the discovery of the body of a man on a Júcar river jetty, within the municipality of Cullera (Valencia).

Shortly before five in the afternoon this Sunday, the lifeless body of a male of foreign nationality was located, as reported by the Armed Institute, which indicates that the circumstances surrounding this event are currently being investigated in order to clarify it. .

In the rescue of the body, members of the Valencia Provincial Firefighters Consortium intervened, who went late in the afternoon to the Júcar jetty where the remains were found. Firefighters from Cullera and a sergeant from Gandia participated in the extraction of the body.

Apart from this event, two workers from the Valencia City Council found this Saturday in a ditch in the neighborhood of La Torre, a human skull

during cleaning work.

These, in turn, notified the Civil Guard, which has opened an investigation to locate the rest of the skeleton. So far, the whereabouts of the bones are unknown, as well as the identity of the person to whom the skull belongs and the date of death.
